Every year, Epcot’s Eat to the Beat concert series brings a mix of chart-topping legends, fresh faces, and — let’s be honest — a few bands you’ve never heard of to the America Gardens Theatre. I went through the entire 2026 lineup and tracked down the most recognizable song from each act that actually has original music. If a band was purely a cover or tribute act, they got cut. No filler, just the hits.

The Fine Print
STARSHIP featuring Mickey Thomas is the real deal. Mickey Thomas has been Starship’s lead vocalist since 1979 and sang on all their biggest hits — “We Built This City,” “Sara,” “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.” He just can’t legally tour under the bare “Starship” name anymore, so he bills as “STARSHIP featuring Mickey Thomas.” This is the voice you remember, not a tribute.
The Hooligans are primarily a British rock cover band that plays the UK pavilion, but they do have a 2020 album called Tear It Down with seven original songs alongside four covers. The title track is the standout. If you’ve caught them at Epcot, though, you’ve probably heard their takes on The Kinks and Thin Lizzy.
Jaclyn Hayden is an Orlando-based country artist and former Disney cast member who now holds a residency at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red. “All Over Again” is her 2024 single — small artist, but she’s got original music.
Couch is a Boston-based retro soul and pop septet making their Epcot debut. “Easy to Love” is their biggest Spotify track at over 13 million streams.
The Ones That Didn’t Make the Cut
These 10 acts are all cover or tribute bands with no original music to their name. They’re great live, but they don’t have a “most recognizable song” of their own:
- Evolution (Motown covers)
- Fly Guys (90s rock covers)
- Latin Ambition
- Metro Latino Band
- Element (ASL cover band)
- Champagne Orchestra (vintage Hollywood covers)
- Viva Latina
- SoundUp
- Southbound (country covers)
- M-80’s (80s covers)
